The Stannah Solus is one of two models that make up Hudson Accessibility's premier stairlift line (our other premier lift is the Stannah Sofia). With state-of-the-art safety technology and a modern look, the Stannah Solus offers more luxury features then most stairlift models. The Solus's low profile design blends into any environment, combining design advancements with updated styling to create on of the best stairlift models on the market. The Solus is also the only stairlift model to offer the option of leather upolstery.

The Stannah Solus's premier stairlift features include:

• A sturdy and reliable anodized track is standard on the Solus, offering a more attractive look then the aluminum tracks utilized by our value stairlift unit. The track is powder-coated to resist scratching and is designed with a very small overhang on the top of the staircase - a great feature for stairs with a doorway at the top.
• A super-quiet ride begins and ends smoothly and gently, and the entire journey is easily controlled with a simple armrest toggle switch.
• Conveniently-located swivel handles allow riders to easily get on and off the chair. Once you have reached your destination, simply lift the swivel lever on the side of the unit, and turn the chair to exit.
• An optional power swivel seat allows turns the chair in one or two directions at the touch of a button, improving chair accessibility and rider safety.
• Removable side link bars are fitted standard on Solus stairlifts, allowing for easy transfer to wheelchairs.
• Long, adjustable armrests help riders support themselves when standing up or sitting down.
• A maximum rider weight capacity of 265 lbs.

The Stannah Solus offers a new, hi-end fabric line of super-soft woven fabrics and attractive leathers in 5 color options. These new materials have been combined with an updated, ergonomic design to improve the stairlift experience. Like all Hudson Accessibility stairlift models, the Stannah Solus utilizes DC powered, maintenance free, sealed lead acid batteries. Hidden charging units plug into a standard 110V AC outlet, and continually charge the unit's batteries, ensuring that your stairlift will operate for several cycles, even during power outages.
