Pegasus - Inclined Platform Lift
Our inclined platform lift, the Pegasus, provides you with
the ability to ascend or descend any staircase with ease.
It is uniquely designed to escalate around your accessibility problems, accomplishing what most would view as an
impossible goal. No matter what the application - indoor,
outdoor, straight or curved stairways - the Pegasus is the
answer. Our 32"x 48" platform is the largest in the industry.
The larger platform size allows access to a great variety
of wheelchairs. In spite of its spacious dimensions, the unit protrudes less than 12 1/2" from the wall when folded. Our inclined platform lift is available with an optional side loading ramp. This option is designed to provide the user with easier access to the platform from the side, thus reducing the amount of bottom landing space required to enter or exit
the platform.
Design
- The standard platform of the Pegasus is the largest
in the industry.
- The unit becomes one of the narrowest folded
platformsin the industry.
- Bi-directional safety ramp sensors not only provide protection for the user of the Pegasus, but also for
other people on the stairway. The Pegasus is manufactured with the highest safety factor currently offered in the North American market. This design
not only allows for structural superiority, but gives the
user a higher level of comfort.
- Each unit is custom measured, ordered and installed
to suit individual building requirements. Flexible and universal design allows for straight and/or curve runs,
with both inside (positive) and outside (negative) turns.
- Pegasus utilizes either a "mini-drive" or a "maxi-drive" remotely located from the carriage.
Safety
- The Pegasus soft start variable speed operation
gives the passenger a smooth desirable ride.
Various software programming (according to options
and application) allows for the right combination of
parameters to create the desired performance.
- Safety barrier arms and access ramps are
mechanically locked and electrically monitored duringtravel. The barrier arms are mechanically
linked with the access ramps to allow for the arm
to raise while the access ramp lowers.
- Every Pegasus is manufactured with safety
barrier arms.
- The lateral safety edge prevents the lift from
moving forward when it encounters an object.
